Endometriosis is a troubling disease affecting an estimated 176 million women and girls globally, in the "prime years of their lives" (WERF, 2011). The illness is responsible for causing pain ranging from mild to crippling; loss of countless missed work and school hours; for some, infertility or pregnancy loss; and so many other financial and intangible costs.  Often invalidated or ignored, many struggle with endometriosis in isolation.  However - there is hope!

Our Center of Excellence in Endometriosis Surgery - one of the few in North America - has been successfully treating patients of all ages from around the world to regain their quality of life for nearly two and a half decades.  Here at the Center for Endometriosis Care, we believe the key to treating endometriosis is to surgically excise it - which means, completely and meticulously removing all disease from all areas - including those areas others may have deemed 'impossible' to treat. We believe in removing endometriosis - not organs - through our "compassionate-aggressive" approach.  Our CEC-accredited surgeons are among the world's leading pioneers in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) and have created a legacy in gold standard treatment of endometriosis via their Advanced Laparoscopic Excision, or LAPEX, technique.  LAPEX is a surgical approach limited to use by those few practitioners across the world who have dedicated their life's work to the successful treatment of endometriosis, who truly understand the disease, and who have mastered the art of advanced surgery.
